Bobcats Hall of Fame
Many great athletes have played sports in Summers County. Many of them have gone on to play College sports, and a few of them have progressed to play at the Professional level. On September 6, 1991, a dedication ceremony was held at the newly installed Bobcat Hall of Fame Memorial. The Memorial is located at the North end of the football field at, now, Garten Stadium. At the dedication ceremony, many dignateries, including West Virginia Governor Gaston Caperton, State Senator Leonard Anderson, and many others attended the historic occasion.
