2025 HHSMAD Perpetuating Fund

Making A Difference Fundraising Progress
Help us help our beloved community. Make your tax-deductible donation to help us continue our "giving back" campaign. Thus far, since October 2012, your generous donations have helped us complete thirty-one projects successfully. The details for each project can be found on our "Projects" pages. The "perpetuating fund" allows us to accumulate long range funds for "interest only" annual withdrawals. We withdraw the accrued interest annually to fund or partially fund HAF approved community grants. Our goal is to continue giving back to Summers County for generations to come. We cannot do this without your help. If you no longer live in Summers County, and want to help us, making a donation is an easy process. Just call 304-573-4920 at the Hinton Area Foundation and they'll fill you in on the details or, you can e-mail us at
jimnoel1925@hotmail.com. You can make tax deductible donations via the Hinton Area Foundation Website. Online they accept PayPal or credit card, or checks can be mailed to Hinton Area Foundation, PO Box 217, Hinton, WV 25951. Please add “#HHS MAD Perpetuating Account” to the memo field. We look forward to speaking with you about our organization, and helping you figure out how you can become involved with us. We are proud of our Summers County community, and we know that you are also. Shown is the current progress thermometer of our perpetuating fund. As of June 2025, our total is $298,491 in the HAF general account. We'll award nearly $11,000 this fall to community grants! Our short-term financial goal was to accumulate $100,000 by December 31, 2014.
